Stefano Pagliani was born in Modena-Italy in 1963 at the age of 6 years and began studying the violin. His teachers have been Salvatore Accardo, Franco Gulli and Paolo Borciani (first violin of the quartet Italian).
For more than 20 years he played first violin in the most important opera and symphony orchestra in Italy and abroad, as the orchestra of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Florence Maggio Musicale in Florence. He recorded as a soloist with these orchestras and with the most prestigious record labels such as EMI and Sony Classical.
He has played all over the world with the most famous conductors such as Claudio Abbado, Carlo Maria Giulini, Herbert von Karajan, Lorin Maazel, Zubin Mehta, Riccardo Muti, George Pretre, Wolfgang Sawallisch e Giuseppe Sinopoli
